- Le photovoltaïque montre des signes d'essoufflement, suite à la baisse de 20% du prix de rachat de l'électricité par EDF. Si les installations de panneaux ne sont plus aussi massives qu'il y a quelques mois, le solaire en libre service, lui, pourrait bien avoir le vent en poupe! I-Bornéo, dont le pôle industriel est situé à Orléans, lance un concept novateur de borne proposant l'énergie solaire en libre service pour recharger les appareils électroniques. Concrètement, l'utilisateur branche son téléphone, son appareil-photo numérique ou son ordinateur portable sur la prise insérée dans la borne. La machine va lui délivrer de l'énergie pendant 10 minutes. Une solution pour laquelle Damien Granjon, PDG de la société E2S qui industrialise et commercialise la marque Bornéo, milite activement: «Je suis convaincu que les énergies renouvelables et le solaire en particulier ont une place dans notre paysage énergétique et que leur intégration dans notre environnement du quotidien est incontournable. La facilité de mise en œuvre et les services rendus sont des atouts majeurs». La Mairie d'Orléans et l'AgglO devraient financer prochainement deux bornes. Une sera installée Place de Gaulle, l'autre sur le parvis de la gare d'Orléans.
